The ruins of Empúries
The great legacy left to the Costa Brava by the Greeks and the Romans
The ruins of Empúries
56 km from the hotel
An archaeological site dating back 2500 years is awaiting you in an idyllic place with spectacular sea views and access to beautiful beaches and coves. It was built by the Greeks in the 6th century B.C. before being occupied by the Romans in the 1st century B.C. Thanks to its trading activity, it was a prosperous area until it was abandoned and covered by the dunes, remaining hidden until 1908. Walls, pillars, houses, streets, marbles and paintings of incalculable value. Are you going to miss it?
