Medes Islands
A protected natural area ideal for scuba diving
Medes Islands
52 km from the hotel
Just a mile from l'Estartit beach are the Medes Islands, formed by 7 islands and several islets. Their ecosystem has been classified as the best nature reserve in the Western Mediterranean. They have no inhabitants and the only building is the Meda Gran Lighthouse. They have been protected for over twenty years and are a true paradise for scuba diving, taking boat trips or renting a glass-bottomed boat to see the seabed. In summer, there is a wide range of sailing and underwater activities related to the islands.
